24.01.2022 What a amazing first 2 days of competition. WA riders are really doing us proud . A great group of riders and families here at Werribee. Everyone is very supportive and we have meet many new friends . Great results today for Savannah with 3 rd in the Prelim 1.2 and 5 th in the combined training 80 cm . ... Looking forward to tomorrows novice tests .

21.01.2022 A very sad day today after the lose of our beautiful Reggie horse at 29 yrs old . Reggie taught countless children to ride attended pony club, shows and was always a pleasure to be around . We were lucky to have such a amazing horse in our lives and will miss him waiting to be fed at 7.30 every morning .

21.01.2022 Fun and games today at my first pony camp for the holidays Games morning and some vaulting for the kids great to see so much confidence in all my riders . Lots of learning about caring for our ponies, rugging, grooming and a quiz to finish the day . Well done Shakayla and Chevy for winning the quiz .

16.01.2022 We have had a busy start to the year with term 1 lessons under way . A great week of lessons with lots of practice happening for the West Plantagenet Dressage day next week . looking forward to seeing all my students riding I was lucky enough to attend the State Pony Club Coaching School in Perth . This weekend is really informative, lots of learning from some of the best coaches in WA . We all came home with heaps of new ideas for lessons plans Thanks to the State Coaching Panel for organising this event and Pony Club WA

15.01.2022 I was lucky this week to have some fantastic weather for the kids camps . They had a great time bareback riding doing mounted games and painting and decorating the ponies . We learnt about the parts of the hoof, farrier tools and how to measure your pony Great to see everyone having so much fun with the ponies and learning at the same time ... Back to normal lessons next week

A lovely weekend away with our eventing friends, was nice to catch up even though dinner was basic Saturday night Was great to have the event live steamed by WA Eventing Promotions so family at home could watch Lily Faulkner Kris Adams Merlene Faulkner Bundy and Savannah placing 3rd in the Eva 80 cm class and winners of the off the track award . Voting will open tonight (June 27 2019) with a Survey Monkey Poll, with a link provided on this PCA Facebook page. 08.01.2022 What a nice weekend away at the State Pony Club Tetrathlon held at Dardanup . The Tetrathlon committee did a great job of running this event getting scores up faster than last year and ensuring it all ran on time . We enjoyed our time with our club members . Seeing old friends and making new ones. Our riders did a fantastic job . Well done to Summer, Maddie, Rory and Savannah you all tried your little hearts out and came away with placings individually and in the teams even...t. Thanks to our composite team member Liam Elliot from York Pony Club . The Tetrathlon is a great event and we look forward to next year hopefully with some more WPPC riders .

06.01.2022 It’s been fantastic seeing some of my riders out competing in some local events Well done to everyone on achieving your goals over the last few weeks. Everyone rode so well and presented their horses beautifully . Well done to Sara and Chevy on riding your very first dressage test at the West Plantagenet Dressage day and Shakayla who competed in her first combined training event at Denmark Pony Club, super job ... We took our new boy Bundy out for the first time and where really pleased with how he went looking forward to the rest of the year .

06.01.2022 Another Interschools done . Bill and Savannah’s first one together in Perth and all going great. Lots to work on but a partnership building . 6th place in the Prelim 1B and a good performance in the Combined Training . Such big classes and quality horses but Great Southern riders certainly hold their own . Thanks to all my wonderful friends for helping me out with Connor and Elsie over the week.
