18.01.2022 Reopening as of 11.59pm tonight

14.01.2022 To our valued members, We hope you are well and are continuing to stay safe during the Covid-19. At the moment we are still liaising with the Melton City Council on reopening the courts. We have had to jump through many hoops and we hope to have some good news soon on opening our courts, although there will be strict restrictions. Please continue to bear with us and we will keep you updated with any news. The committee at the club has been in discussion over the last couple o...f weeks in relation to the upcoming membership for the 20/21 financial year. We understand that many families may be doing it tough with the Covid-19 impact and the last thing we want to do is to stress our members out with the additional financial concerns of a membership. The committee has decided that for all EXISTING members, whether you have a family, adult or junior membership that we are giving you the first 6 months for free, until December. From December we will then only charge you pro-rata rate for memberships. Please note that court/light key will still be $50. We hope that this helps all our members and encourages you to re-join us at the end of the year. It’s just a little something to say thank you for supporting us over the many years. Any new members who join will be subject to current membership pricing. We hope to see you all back on the court soon. Regards, Hillside Tennis Club Committee

14.01.2022 Booking system is now active! To book a court please go to hillsidetcbookings.skedda.com You then choose a day and time, then fill out your details. Please fill in the notes who is hitting. You will get a confirmation email with the time and date of your booking. If we need to make any changes we will notify you by text. Just a reminder that due to the current COVID conditions you are only allowed to hit with two members from different households or any number of people from the same household. If you have any issues in booking a court please message Ebony on 0479 050 882.

12.01.2022 Due to Stage 4 Restrictions the courts have been locked with absolutely no access to anyone. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Stay safe and hopefully we can get back on the court soon.

11.01.2022 We finally have some good news the... HILLSIDE TENNIS COURTS HAVE BEEN REOPENED!! Please check your emails for the rules and restrictions and if you have not received one please let us know. 09.01.2022 All matches for Friday night have been cancelled due to the weather. At this stage Saturday morning matches are expected to go ahead! Best of luck to all players

09.01.2022 We received some fantastic news during the week from the council - you can now hit with anyone outside your household. We have an allocated doubles and singles court and we need to abide by these rules. Currently our court 5&6 lock is having some issues so while that is getting fixed court 3 is our singles court and court 4 for doubles. Please continue to book online at hillsidetcbookings.skedda.com and please put in the note section who you are hitting with. Hopefully after today's announcement we will be able to open up more courts and for longer hits. Thank you all for your patience during this and a big thank you to Michelle for all her hard work behind the scenes of getting the courts opened.

08.01.2022 COVID 19 UPDATE! Courts are still open to our members for casual play only. Any number of people from the same household are allowed to hit together OR for two people from different households. We are not allowed to exceed 10 people at the venue at one time. Please keep messaging 0479 050 882 to book in your court. Only bookings will be allowed to use the courts. Please advise when booking for over 2 people whether you are from the same household. Thanks and we hope you are keeping safe :)

05.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN (from Monday)! All members should of received an email regarding restrictions, if you haven't please let us know. Courts 3&4 and 5&6 will be reopened to get in, hit and get out, no socialising and please practice social distancing. Please sanitise your hands before and after play and if you can wipe down any surfaces you've touched. There will be NO ACCESS to the toilets, lights or clubrooms. ... Due to social distancing rules members will be required to reserve a court by messaging 0479 050 882. You will be given a 1-hour time slot to hit. To comply with council protocols, you will need to give all names of people that you are going to hit with. Thank you for your patience during this time.

03.01.2022 At this point in time we are still liaising with Melton Council and Tennis Victoria on whether or not we are able to open the courts for social use. We thank you for being patient but we want to make sure we are doing the right thing by everyone. We hope to see you all back on the court soon!

03.01.2022 Unfortunately with yesterday’s news our club and courts still remain closed. Hopefully with the next lot of easing in the restrictions we are able to open our courts soon. We are all very eager to see everyone out on the courts soon.
