24.01.2022 Christmas celebrate a time of giving and receiving with Rotary This Christmas, the Rotary Club of The Hills Kellyville are giving families a chance to bot...h give and receive. By coming to one of two easy locations, Hills families can ‘receive’ a wonderful fresh Christmas tree. The ‘giving’ part is that 100% of the profit from your Christmas tree purchase will go to great Rotary works in the local community and beyond. The Christmas tree sale dates are across 3 weekends in December - Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th December - Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th December - Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th December (the last days subject to Christmas tree stock) In two locations over both weekends: - The Bull & Bush Hotel (car park), cnr Windsor Rd & Seven Hills Rd, Baulkham Hills - The Ettamogah Hotel (car park), cnr Windsor Rd & Merriville Rd, Kellyville Ridge Both locations are easy to get to with plenty of space to park & select a Christmas tree in a Covid safe manner and, we’ll even help you load. If you’re really stuck, arrangements can be made for delivery. Our Christmas Trees are sourced from NSW farms around Sydney and are freshly delivered each weekend. Another way to give back to the community through our club this Christmas is ‘The Giving Tree located at Stockland Mall, Baulkham Hills. The Rotary Club of the Hills-Kellyville not only holds events in the local community, we also raise funds for numerous programs far and wide, from the Hills area to outback Australia to overseas communities with specific needs. Some of the Local programs include a local Garden Competition and Literacy Initiatives for students. Further afield the club continues its Bourke Public School Breakfast Club project, helping school attendance. The club has been at the forefront of the drive for drought relief support and fund raising. The Children’s Hospital at Westmead have purchased new state of the art equipment for their Eye Clinic with funds organised by our club. At an International level, the club completed its twelve year project of refurbishing Arep Provincial School, Vanua Lava, Vanuatu.
