18.01.2022 Here is some news from Netball SA for all clubs information. Netball SA (NSA) advises that COVID Marshal training is now available online at https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/recovery/covid-marshals In accordance with updates to public activity restrictions in South Australia, from Friday 21 August 2020 certain activities require the appointment of a COVID Marshal. A COVID Marshal is a trained person responsible for promoting COVIDSafe behaviours at their venue/place of activity... to help monitor venue capacity, physical distancing, infection controls and hygiene rules. HOW MANY MARSHALS ARE REQUIRED AT A NETBALL CLUB The following should be considered when coordinating the number and appointment of your Club’s COVID Marshals: A COVID Marshal must be on site on any occasion food and beverage is being served at the venue, this would include mid-week meals and match days; You can have more than one prescribed COVID Marshal (NSA recommends at least one marshal is assigned to both the licensed venue and match day/spectator management); If less than 200 people in attendance, the role can be assumed by someone undertaking other duties (ie: ground manager, or bar manager etc); If more than 200 people are expected to be present at an operation a COVID Marshal who is supervising must have no other duties. (ie: must be a designated match day role or roles) For more information please see the attachment on our HNA website under general documents or visit Netball SA's website. Thank you again to all clubs to keeping up to date with everything this season. We would not run as smoothly as we have if not for all clubs and their volunteers putting in the hard work to keep all members safe and to continue our involvement in netball.

12.01.2022 The HNA and all clubs have been working really hard to get our 2020 season up and running soon. We have been working closely with Netball SA to ensure we adhere to restrictions and keep everyone safe while combating the boredom of isolation and to keep fit, healthy and connected while playing community sport. Most clubs will be starting training in the next few weeks, so please support your clubs through this process as much as possible. Please remember that new information is constantly flooding through the doors, meaning we really appreciate your patience with us while we aim to get you all the information you need as quickly as we can. Good luck everyone in the coming weeks and please remember to stay safe and maintain your social distancing.
