21.01.2022 ANZAC Day will look a little different this year but it is still important to stop, pause and remember those who have made sacrifices for our country. RSL NSW acting president Ray James has called upon NSW residents to stand at the end of their driveways or on their balconies at 6am on Saturday April 25th to commemorate those who served, those who lost their lives and those who are still serving. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;... Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. Lest We Forget.

03.01.2022 2020 has been designated as the Year of the Nurse and Midwife. It is 200 years since the birth of Florence Nightingale and on the 12th May, her birthdate, we celebrate International Nurses Day to mark the contributions nurses make to society. Nurses are the calm, skilled, caring presence for the scared, the ill, the lonely. They are the eyes and ears of the medical team. They are the reassurance and support of the family and friends. Never before has the value of nurses been ...so evident as during this worldwide pandemic. Nurses have led the way showing courage, expertise and dedication to protecting and healing their communities. And a nurse will simply say- I am just doing my job. To ALL NURSES who are just doing their job, we say THANKYOU. We say WE APPRECIATE YOUR DEDICATION, YOUR SACRIFICES AND YOUR TIME. We say YOU ARE INVALUABLE.
