23.01.2022 We've heard that there's been a back down on face coverings. This was largely for the trade sector. Here at Hills Physiotherapy we are a private medical clinic and we still expect you to wear a properly fitted face mask that covers your mouth and nose when you are in our waiting rooms, treatment areas or in our rehabilitation spaces. As a comparison have a look at the two images below and see what we're asking you to wear versus what we MUST wear to treat you. ... We offer disposable masks for sale for $1 and have a beautiful collection of hand made reusable masks for $10, so we've taken care of the "I don't have one". If you feel like wearing a mask during a pandemic is going to disrupt your treatment we can offer you a tele-health consult, or you can wait until the pandemic is over. This would have been 5 years after his graduation from Melbourne Uni in 2001, meaning that he's been doing this nearly 20 years! 16.01.2022 Health care has now changed from being "Heavily Restricted" to "Restricted". This means we still need to ensure that the care we're providing is essential, however this has now relaxed to allow Chronic Pain management to be a reason for care. Unfortunately this still means Myotherapists and Remedial Massage therapists are unable to treat at this stage, we'll advise when we have a date for these services. No waiting room hangs please! ... You must have a properly fitted face mask on for your treatment. don't play with us on this one, it's the rules. We have them for sale if you've forgotten. We have to wear full PPE to treat you so discomfort is not an excuse! Please please please call to rebook your appointment if you can't come.
