22.01.2022 See William Ward Hill's grave, the man Hillston is named after, on either Tuesday and Thursday morning's Farm Bus Tours. Two different tours will run on both days. Roto Road tour; covering the grave site, cotton gin, almond orchard and Merrowie Station reservoir. River Road tour; covering Watson's melon farm, orange orchard and Rennie's potatoes. People may choose to do one or both tours. Bookings will open on Saturday evening at the ball and at other events during the week.
22.01.2022 Have collected 40 Sesqui-Centenary wine glasses today - so those with orders should be hearing from me very soon. If not, please email "[email protected]". Thanks, Lyn.
21.01.2022 Members of the Sesqui Centenary had a fabulous afternoon with Dot Davidson. To add to the Sesqui Centenary celebration and as a tribute to one of Hillstons biggest icons, Bill Morgan, the display windows of The Golden Gate Cafe are being set up with displays. Today the windows were cleaned, photos and pages from old order catalogues were hung and old wares were selected from in the shop and put on display in the windows. Tomorrow, dresses from the 1960s and other goods from the shop will also be displayed. Lots of treasures are on display that will bring back fond memories to anyone who ever had one of Bills milks shakes.
20.01.2022 The Sesqui-centenary committee is continuing the planning of a town clock in the centenary garden. It is propsoed to be placed between the centenary plaques and the fence. The restoration of a section of the original wrought iron fencing has been completed and the fence reinstalled. This will be complemented by the refurbishment of the garden by the Shire. We are very grateful to the Hillston Lions Club for pledging half of the cost of the clock. The committee will be asking for further donations toward the cost of the clock during the week of the Sesqui centenary celebrations.
17.01.2022 The Hillston Show fireworks tonight topped off a fabulous week of celebrations. All events this week have been fantastic but none of them would have been anything if the people didn't come and support them like they have. Thank you to everyone who has taken part this week.

12.01.2022 Thanks to the generousity of the Morgan family, have started setting up displays in the 'Real Cafe' windows as well. It is a joy to work alongside such positive, humble people who just get on with what needs doing and are so devoted to Hillston, thanks Gwen.
10.01.2022 The Committee has ordered lots of souvenirs, so everyone should have the chance to buy something to help them remember this exciting week in Hillston's History. They are on display in the The Real Cafe window and will be on sale at various events during the week.
