22.01.2022 We have a vacancy! A rare 3 day vacancy has become available at Hilltop Family Day Care. This place, ideally for a child aged 3+, is for Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday (times neg). Starting in September. Send through a message to arrange a visit and chat!

12.01.2022 As our first week draws to a close I am feeling so very lucky to have such adorable little people come into my life and home. Everything went smoothly and I am bursting with fun ideas to explore next week. We are officially up and running and it feels fantastic!

10.01.2022 Thank-you so much to the wonderful family/ies who have nominated me for educator of the year. Hilltop Family Day Care has only been open a short time but I have given it my heart and soul. We are now moving onwards and upwards with a group of well transitioned kids and open communication all round. Such a humbling thing to have happen in my first few months as a day care educator. 03.01.2022 We have been embracing winter learning at Hilltop. A campfire and discussions about how fire has been used for communication and survival (then we toasted marshmallows of course ), a science experiment volcano eruption and lots of indoor play and discovery.

02.01.2022 Our first week open is going wonderfully, lots of laughter and exploring. Thankyou again to everyone who has shared on facebook and by word of mouth. Currently I only have one space on a Tuesday and one on a Thursday so please send through a message if you are interested.

02.01.2022 Week 2 and we have sunshine! (Just a little bit). Lots of cross age learning happening and the mud kitchen is still proving to be a favourite. We have also participated in the NAIDOC festival. What a week! School goes back next week so our playgroup routine should set in. Thanks to all of my wonderful families, working together to settle the little ones in has been a joy.

01.01.2022 Please don't forget that Friday September 30th is the AFL GRAND FINAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY. If you require care on this day (even if it is your booked day) please let me know asap and be aware it is a higher fee due to being a public Holiday. Any questions, please just ask.... Let's Get Sun Smart! Also, we are having many more sunny days so could all children please start bringing a broad brimmed sun smart hat. You are welcome to leave one at Day Care if that's easier. Please start sending children to care with sunscreen already applied in the morning. I will reapply during the day. Please chat to me if you have any concerns.
