Together we pondered what our community needs, wants and what we as a community group can provide and how Covid had effected all this. We looked at our vision statement to remind ourselves why we exist and we touched on how we can fund all our wonderful ideas. We got the textas out and got the ball rolling! It’s been lovely to see people gradually making their way back into the garden recently, and we wanted to make the following announcements:... What’s up and running? Hilton Harvest Nursery Monday & Friday morning volunteering (9-12) Further updates coming soon for the following: Monthly Crop Swap Buds n Blooms intergenerational gardening Members and visitors are welcome to come through the garden at any time to enjoy the space and for personal gardening. With WA now in Phase 4 we ask the following requests of all visitors so that we can continue to support each other: Please BYO cup/thermos (if you use any dishes from the garden, please ensure that you clean well with hot water and dishwashing liquid before departure) Continue practicing physical distancing where possible Maintain good personal hygiene (cover coughs/sneezes, wash hands frequently etc.) If you have travelled interstate/internationally within the last 14 days, please stay home If you or someone you live with are with are unwell, please stay home If you test positive for Covid-19 and have been to the garden in the 14 days prior to your diagnosis, please notify the committee via email [email protected] Thanks Gardeners let’s continue to look after ourselves and our neighbours.
