24.01.2022 If the weather permits, consider joining us out on your driveway this afternoon - you may need more than a raincoat if the BOM prediction is right - or maybe on your verandah. Catch up with your neighbours, let the kids and the dogs have a bit of fun, and have a drink or two and some nibblies in a physically distanced, but not socially isolated way.

22.01.2022 It's a lovely day in my neighborhood, so it would be lovely to meet up with neighbours and friends at the end of the driveway. Whether you're in lockdown or not, unless the weather there is quite appalling, why not come and join us up at the end of your driveway from 4ish to 5ish?

18.01.2022 As a humanist, I firmly believe in every person's right and responsibility to give meaning and shape to their own lives. I am extremely honoured to be named as ...the 2020 'Humanist of the Year' by the Council of Australian Humanist Societies! Humanism is a democratic and ethical life stance based on human and other natural values upholding reason and science while rejecting superstition and dogma. It's not a religion, but the meaning derived from building a more humane society makes this particular system of beliefs well worth subscribing to. There's an online ceremony tonight at 7.00 pm , I hope you can join me. https://zoom.us/j/99798109239

14.01.2022 It's another lovely winter's day here in SE Qld - I trust that you'll have something similar where you are. It's so lovely that spending a little time from around 4ish this afternoon on the driveway, following your local Covid safety recommendations, saying hello to your neighbours over a drink would be perfect. So, I'm looking forward to seeing many people today out on your driveways from around 4pm - I know for sure that I will be there. :)

13.01.2022 It's another Sunday. It's Sunday afternoon, and at 4ish PM it will be another Sunday Driveway Drinks! Join us all in your driveway with a brewsky or a wine (or a sarsaparilla, or bourbon, or water, or whatever you like), some cheese and crackers and maybe some kabana and little pickled onions, or chocolate (or sourdough bread, or cookies, or whatever) and commune with our neighbours. I've got the base of the new Beergola Communications Structure well underway with thanks to help from some friends (a Covid-19 Restrictions Project) which will come in very handy for future Sunday Driveway Drinks sessions.
