It's easy to feel that there's not much we, as... individuals, can do to help. But every dollar that can be put toward helping others can help in significant ways. Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) Bushfire appeals is taking donations and the funds raised will go directly where they're needed most. 03.01.2022 We have always taken resources over to Nepal when we go, books, pencils, blankets, laptops you name it! Anything to help improve their education and quality of life. In 2017 we were lucky enough to take over a Dream cricket kit to play with some local disabled kids. From the perspective of a lot of our schoolies I know that this has had one of the most profound impacts on those kids life in comparison to the other things we’ve taken. When we returned last year to participate ...in another amazing day of dream cricket, we decided to fundraiser for another kit worth over $1500. On the weekend we were lucky enough to meet the director of Dream Cricket Australia, Peter, and his beautiful wife Sally. After they lost Sally’s mother last year they were looking for an amazing cause to give to in her honour and little did we know it was ours! We feel extremely grateful and honoured to be able to take not 1 but 2 Dream Cricket kits over to Nepal.
