Vaisala is located in Va...ntaa but you might be surprised how many Vaisala employees actually enjoy taking their bike to work and cycling around the beautiful landscape around the office. What do some of Vaisala cyclists say about their commute of choice? Cycling is a great way for me to get an efficient two-hour workout a day in the middle of the hurdle that is family life. I also feel good about the emission-free way of moving. My one-way commute is 23 kilometers, so I bike a couple of days a week, and the rest I commute by my electric car. -Kimmo Koskipirtti, Quality Manager at Vaisala. By bus, it would take me 4550 minutes to get to work, while by bike it takes only 35 minutes. Saving time is a great motivator, but I can also get into a better shape almost without realizing it. When I start the day by biking, it gives me energy throughout the whole day.
