20.01.2022 COVID MARSHAL TRAINING Complete it online https://marshal.clickontraining.com.au/ From 21 August 2020, you must have a COVID Marshal if your business or acti...vity is or involves any of the following: Hospitality: Any business or activity providing food and/or beverages for on-site consumption to members of the public, including pubs, bars, restaurants, cafés, wineries, cellar doors, dining areas, food courts, etc. This does not include take-away only operators. Gyms and fitness centre: Gyms and fitness centres/studios, pilates, yoga, spin, barre, dance and similar studios, health clubs, etc. Indoor and outdoor sports clubs: e.g. football, cricket, netball, soccer, tennis clubs, racing (horse/greyhound) clubs (both indoor and outdoor areas). Swimming pools available for public use: Publicly owned pools and businesses that operate with a swimming pool the public can use, including associated facilities such as showers, changerooms etc. Social and community clubs: e.g. community/RSL halls, youth and recreation centres, other facilities commonly used for meetings, gatherings and events open to members of the public. Religious or faith-based ceremonies: Includes both ceremonies and services held at places of worship, such as churches, mosques, synagogues or temples, and ceremonies or services held elsewhere. This does not include weddings or funerals. Supermarkets and hardware stores: Includes all retailers including small or independent stores that operate as supermarkets or hardware stores (these are more common in regional areas). However, for these smaller operations, this usually simply means that the floor manager/main staff member on duty would also act as COVID Marshal while at work. As such, this would likely not be onerous. Distribution centres: Includes distribution centres and their associated transport operations (e.g. arrival/departure areas, loading/unloading and other activities). Businesses or activities that are required to have a COVID Management Plan. If you have a capacity of 200 people or less then you must have a nominated COVID Marshal. This means that you can nominate one of your regular staff members to also perform the role of COVID Marshal in addition to conducting his/her usual duties. If you have a capacity of more than 200 then you must have a dedicated COVID Marshal. This means that you must have a staff member on site that only and exclusively performs the role of COVID Marshal during your business or activity’s operations. https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/recovery/covid-marshals

07.01.2022 Our heartfelt condolences to the families of Vinay Angadi and James Huang who left us too soon. Vinay, Dr Vinay Angadi, was an inspirational, motivated and won...derful human being. An exemplar Hindu Youth, living strong to his values, and being genuinely interested in everyone he knew and worked with. I still remember the day you chose the pink and yellow theme for our conference and telling us that we needed to not think of pink as a feminine colour. Your views on women empowerment and Shakti always helped the young girls around the room feel encouraged that the next generation will effect change. Your essay on Swami Vivekanada’s message on women empowerment won the first prize in a competition and will now live on with us as a reminder of your thoughts. You will no doubt be missed. No words will fill in the void you leave behind. For Vinay’s family, we might not be there in person, but the entire Hindu youth community stands with you praying for strength and courage for you and for Sadgati of Vinay’s aatma. Here is a link for anyone wanting to offer contributions to Vinay’s family in this difficult time https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/in-the-memory-of-vinay Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti
