13.01.2022 DEWALT Racing's Scott Pye has powered through to the top ten in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship with a sixth place in Race 27, while IRWIN Racing's Mark Winterbottom was taken out in the opening lap carnage in the final race of The Repco SuperSprint at The Bend. Team 18 will remain at The Bend Motorsport Park for next weekend’s OTR SuperSprint using the shortened 3.41km West Circuit.

03.01.2022 DEWALT Racing Scott Pye continued his run of strong finishes from Darwin to climb into the top ten from 15th or below in all three races in Townsville, completing a total of 25 passes across the weekend. It was a different story for IRWIN Racing Mark Winterbottom, the four-time race winner in Townsville emerged in 18th after a loose wheel resulted in a longer pit stop in Race 21, but found a further improvement in car pace and recovered strongly to salvage a top ten finish.

01.01.2022 A strong team performance to cap off the last race in Townsville. DEWALT Racing Scott Pye achieved his fifth top five finish of the season in Race 24, while IRWIN Racing Mark Winterbottom scored a top ten and moved forward strongly in both races on Sunday. Winterbottom remained eighth in the championship, while Pye’s strong run saw him climb up two spots to 11th in the drivers’ Championship. Team 18 will now return to South-East Queensland before heading to South Australia next week for the Repco SuperSprint at The Bend Motorsport Park on September 19-20.
