24.01.2022 UPSET, OUTRAGED, DISAPPOINTED!!! Nothing on Hinoak Kbbq today but hoping that anyone reading will spread more awareness. At a time of crisis and the #coronavirus going around, we are disgusted to hear how our fellow asian/non asian people are being treated, even if they have not got the virus. There are now articles circulating on the web that chinese people are not allowed in certain areas. That by just being asian looking, they will be treated as if they were criminal, a wa...lking disease or ticking time bomb. We have friends living here in Melb that now are scared or concerned to be in public because of their race. Even the slightest cough will have people turning heads towards them. Purposely avoiding the path they walk in. Muttering racial slurs & comments. Disgusting asians , they brought the disease here, stay away from THEM, bloody gooks. I come from a a childhood remembering first coming to Australia and having stones thrown at my mother and I whilst sitting at a bus stop with our shopping bags waiting to go home. F-ing Asians, go back to your country. It is sad that decades later a similar thing is happening. We’re being treated not people that have a virus but people that ARE the virus. Im hoping that as you read this that you will share awareness to your friends and family and remember that our society was built together by many races and not just one. To hope or pray to those that are going through the tough times that they are loved and thought of. Let us treat each other respectfully, non judgemental, non discriminatory and as humans. Im not asking you to share this post but please, word of mouth is the most powerful form of spreading a message. Let your message be with love, not hate. See more

24.01.2022 ‘THANKYOU’ - We have been flooded with messages to show support during this crisis. Without all our diners and friends we have made along the way, we wouldn’t have made it this far. So Thank you for always coming back. This is truly unprecedented times that is affecting everyone! We truly hope that everyone is safe and still maintaining some sort of sanity. ‘It’s Okay though!! We have always adapted in the past to new laws, regulations and unexpected crisis situations suc...h as these times. Now we will do the samw again and be releasing a limited time TAKEAWAY MENU that will be ready in the coming weeks. Not being sure how long the lockdown may go for, we will continue to push through and support our customers. As we prepare a new menu for you, we would love to hear your ideas and what you would potentially like to see or eat from Korean cuisine. We will strive our best to cater for you. 23.01.2022 LAST DAY OPEN!! It’s Time.. due to the increase in covid19 over the past week. We have decided to shutdown. We’re just as uncertain in the future as the most of hospitality industry and will keep you updated as we go along. It is sad but it must be done. So we have decided to have our last day tonight and giving 30% off our whole takeaway menu! Does that mean drinks too?? Yes it does!! Make sure to call us on 88381838. 12.01.2022 6-Weeks! Covid19 feels like an eternity! With the new stage 3 restrictions in place we are closed for our dine in service. We truly want to thank all our customers that have supported us in this last month that we have been open! We never had a day that was empty! Plenty of fantastic new reviews and feedback! We’re determined to keep you all pleased. Thats why this time. . . . We are OPEN for TAKEAWAYS from the 10th July. Our trading hours will be listed on our social and website. We hope that you can be patient with us over the next few weeks to work out our takeaway menu for you. However. Our general one will be available tomorrow. Hoping everyone is keeping safe and we can all celebrate on the other side of this all.

Lil Fact: it took actually 2 yrs to make Hinoak happen, with all the building, architecture and little mishaps along the way, it was a journey we reminisce very fondly! Thank you so much to all our customers and people that have become our regulars and VIPs! You have truly made this all worth it! Thank you to the team that has made Hinoak what it is today!
