24.01.2022 Every Creative project starts off with a light bulb moment enter Mieke van den Berg an extremely talented Artist on the Sunshine Coast you may recognize her from her large wall art installments at Queen st Nambour the Library at Beerwah and many other places on the Sunshine Coast. Currently, she is in the final stages of completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts. Her work is impeccable. This collection was created in Nambour her intent "to interrogate displacement of mind, body, a...nd the spaces we occupy" Mieke. Mieke and I both agreed that Nambour would be the perfect place to shoot due to its urban excentric streets and the homeless that occasionally frequent them. As the Photographer watching Mieke create moving art with a 10-second rule to perform with a chair that represents a home I found it quite mesmerizing. Though in the back of my mind thinking if I was homeless where would I hide at night for safety who would I trust for help if I had no family. Recline........... 23.01.2022 Take the photo, Our children grow so much, so fast, here my daughter Summer attended a photoshoot with her big sister I was doing the BTS when I turned to see this brimming grin, not set up, not the best image just natural beauty sincere innocence, And only one-click now I get to look at that child and remember all that she is and all that she was as she grows up. Take the photograph it is your legacy and their inheritance for future generations to come.

20.01.2022 WOW was my brother Lucas blessed to have the Thrive Team call upon him and his land to host the THRIVE of a life time event for New Year’s Eve. I have never experienced such perfection at an event where everyone was warmly catered for a space to be yourself a space of unconditional love, family, relationships, friendships, sisterhood, and brotherhood with a mix of Art, Music, Dance, Movement, Stillness, Rain, Mud, and Sunshine we all became one Tribe Thrive Tribe. 12.01.2022 While down in my favorite excentric town of Nambour shooting in the train tunnel, I met the most colorful happy, and bright person. I wanted to talk to her for hours to hear her story's one of which she told me her name is Ria and she was the first woman to form the Eumundi Body Art festival way way way back in the day. A local legend that gave birth to an event that I enter in my wearable art now in Cooroy. Thanks, Ria it was a pleasure meeting you.
