25.01.2022 Well done Wyatt, nice snapper 1.8kg picking up the biggest fish voucher. But Tim won the outing with a mixed bag of flatty, whiting, flounder and bream. Heime did well with his limit of bream and a few whiting and Peter Sherwin were the only others to weigh in fish this outing. The bug sea’s put a few off when the beaches were closed no doubt. We will hold off on the presentation night until we have a clearer picture around large gatherings. Well done to all that got out there and had a go, see you all next month

24.01.2022 Hi everyone I’d like to call a meeting for Monday 25th of May to make a call for June long weekend. Fingers crossed we can kick the club off again and break a attendance record after the lockdown. So if you’re available, at this stage we will hold the meeting at the park across from the pub. 5:30pm we can turn a few car headlights on if needed. Cheers

22.01.2022 Wow what a great weekend, with a red hot weigh in . Well done to our raffle sellers Tash Burton and Rachelle Avery great effort only to find we had no meat trays in the cool room . We put up 10 beer cards instead and still have a bit for the kitty. So great effort and we really appreciate it. Darren Streeter caught the biggest bass with a 1.1kg 47cm monster. And won the $100 BCF voucher and next year it will be $200 thanks to new sponsor Denny Frost pest spraying. W...ell done to new member Tia Lantry with a 0.95kg cracker winning the women’s prize. And Archie Greentree won the junior’s with three nice fish. And Troy Lantry won the membership draw. Once the dust settled Friday afternoon it turned out an awesome gathering with easily 40+ club members making it up to Lostock dam. Thanks everyone for another great weekend. Presentation afternoon is Sunday 6th December from 1pm. Keep an eye on F.B And we will hold another meeting Monday 23rd November to finalise details. Denny will be there this time. Lol

20.01.2022 Hi everyone we held a meeting Tuesday afternoon with 15 members attending items discussed included financial, outings for 21/22 which will be finalised at the next meeting, the presentation/Xmas party was a hit so we will continue with that this year on the first Sunday in December. AGM to be held 31 May prior to the new season starting in June. All positions will be declared vacant and new committee elected. So would like as many members to attend as possible. Denny ran us... through some annual maintenance on the life jackets. Next outing is an open outing so fishing wherever you like freshwater, estuary or outside. That starts 19th February 4pm weigh in Sunday 21st where we will be handing out the shirts so need all members to attend. If you have ordered extra shirts or need to update membership please have your money ready. We will be there from 3pm to get it sorted. There’s a 10 x tray meat raffle so bring some extra for Cheers

17.01.2022 Hi everyone after speaking to the committee members we have decided to call an early end to the season. There will be no outings for April or May. All points will be tallied up and a new date will be worked out for the presentation night. Hopefully we get this virus stuff sorted out before June long weekend !!! Good luck to all, stay safe

16.01.2022 Well done Wyatt, for putting the time and effort in this weekend (travelling from little gibber to Nelsons bay breakwall and back) and won the outing. It paid off with over 15kg of fish Luderick, Drummer, Leather Jacket and Bream. Tim picked up the biggest fish with a nice Groper. And Will was our junior champion. It’s not just about the fishing, a great weekend to get outside and have some fun well done to all that had a go !! I’d like to have a meeting tomorrow week, Mond...ay 28th September 5:30pm. We need to plan a presentation night and Xmas party and any other general business. Cheers

15.01.2022 Hi everyone another great weekend for fishing a little windy Saturday morning. Tim Bridge won the outing with a six species mixed bag tallying over 200pts Wyatt Lantry won biggest fish with a nice flathead. But it was the women’s division that was the real competition was this weekend with Kez Fraser (three bream) Ange Manson (10 whiting) and Tash Burton (10 whiting and one flathead) all weighing in but Tash Burton won. It was the flathead that was the difference with the ex...tra 10pts for the second species. Well done to all that had a go this weekend Next outing is to Lostock dam don’t forget it’s a weekend early 13-14th of November with the weigh in back at the pub Sunday 15th 4pm. Note; $100 biggest bass BCF voucher is on again you will need to weigh your catch in back at the pub !!

At this time we have no plans for the next meeting or presentation night. But will still be having our monthly outings and weigh in’s back at the pub. Starting 4pm on the third Friday of the month. Weigh in Sunday 4pm.

12.01.2022 Hi everyone I was just letting Lostock caravan park know we are coming on the 20-21st of November they said they have a 40th booked for that weekend so the covered area is booked which is always handy if we get bad weather. If it doesn’t affect anyone’s weekend off I’d like to bring the outing forward one week to the 13-14th as they have no one else booked that weekend. I’d like to see some feedback from everyone for and against !!

12.01.2022 Hi everyone the members only Xmas party/presentation is this Sunday. The platters will start from 1pm presentation around 3pm then draw the raffle, we will be in the tent out the back with the can bar open. We only have this area until 5pm and we can move inside after that !! And we have extra prawns so skip breakfast! We will be selling raffle tickets with plenty of prizes for everyone. Fishing rods, tackle box, fishing shirts (Lowes), 8x beer cards, bottles of wine and spi...rits, as well as donations from Camo Germon some club t-shirts and Dan Rodgers $300 car service, some kids toys an heaps more !! I will have shirts (all sizes) for everyone to try on so we can place the order next week. There will be only one order and no returns so it’s important we get a correct size from everyone. If your not going to be there you need to get your size to us before Wednesday 9th !! Cheers see you all Sunday

11.01.2022 Congratulations to Leigh Robbo taking out the biggest fish trophy for the June long weekend. Just ahead of Will Frost. And it was close in the team’s only 40 points between the top two teams. But it was team two that was the best well done Adam Cooper, Darren Streeter, Will Frost and Wyatt Lantry. It was a great weekend weather wise but the fishing was a bit tougher than last year. Well done to all that turned up an made it a great weekend with 38 participants and a few mor...e spectators!! So with restrictions easing and the pub about to open July will be our next outing but before that we will have a meeting on the first Monday of that month I will post a reminder as it gets closer to plan the presentation night and shirts etc. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and look forward to see you all again next year!!

09.01.2022 Hi everyone sorry Tash and I couldn’t make the weigh in but by the photos looks like a good one. Congratulations to Corey Parker on the biggest fish prize with a 1.9kg Flathead. Tim Bridge won the outing Ange Mann won the women’s prize and Will Frost was our best junior. Ok here gos tim 184 pts will frost 84 pts ange mann 35pts biggest fish corey parker flatty 1.9kg. With an outing total 24flatties 18bream 20luderick 14 tailor 11 whiting 5 snapper 1drummer 3 salmon... Total 96 weight 46.8kg Well done to everyone that had a go this weekend !!! We would like to have a meeting on the Monday 1st February 5:30 pm to discuss new year’s outing details and any other general business. The shirts are done and we would like to have everyone attend the next weigh in on the 21st of February where we will hand them out !! We will have 5 beer cards in addition to the normal 5 meat trays for the raffle. Cheers I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as I did

07.01.2022 June long weekend update!!! Meeting still on for tomorrow afternoon 5:30pm at the park Club officials have been in contact with National parks at this stage only Banksia Green will be open. (We hope)... National park website will open Monday and sites will have to be booked individually or for groups of six. Site’s will go quick so you need to book/organise your group now !! If you need more info call Shark or Frosty We will discuss other options Monday at the meeting in regard to outing.

06.01.2022 Thanks for the shirt Camo Germon !! We have a two options available for club shirts (polo shirt) and Camo is donating a few t-shirts and singlets for the Xmas raffle. So don’t forget Sunday 6th December at Hinton pub from 12:30pm. And have your sizes ready !! One shirt for single membership two for family and junior’s shirts are free.... What do you think ??

03.01.2022 Hi everyone it’s been so long between outings Friday 17th 4pm is the starting time for our next OPEN outing We will plan a date for a meeting after that, I have spoken to Laine we are right to hold the weigh in out the back. That’s Sunday 19th 4pm. Note; if you’re drinking you need to be seated. You need to be a member prior to the weigh in to participate. So contact one of the committee members to arrange new membership if needed $50 for family’s or $30 single.... So make some plans and we’ll see you at the weigh in

This year you need to keep your best 4 bass and weigh them back at the pub to win the outing. There will be prizes for juniors and women’s best catch’s $20 BCF vouchers. The biggest bass by weight will win the $100 voucher !! Fish need to be cleaned to be weighed !! See you there
