04.01.2022 I've shared this infographic from a physio who posted in LinkedIn. This image explains a lot. Often we can't see the end of the tunnel when we're recovering from an injury, surgery, or even from grief. Grief takes many forms, and losing the use of part of your body for a time, or in the way you want it to work, can take its toll. As a physio, apart from providing the physical side of rehabilitation, reassuring patients to keep up with their exercises and gradual re-loading of tissues is part of my role. Take heart and keep up with your rehab - you will only improve with perseverance and time.
