22.01.2022 Did you know I offer strapping/groom services for show days? If you are taking multiple horses or just need a hand getting things organised I'm here to help! My services include but aren't limited to: Organising and packing of all tack and supplies... Preparing the horses for events ensuring they are clipped, bathed, pulled, trimmed and then dressed and loaded, in the correct order, ready to leave on time. Horse care and safety during travel. Preparation and up keep of temporary yards /stables. Grooming and Tacking up ready for each class Ensuring horses are presented clean and tidy for any exercise riding or lunging the rider may do. Turning horses out immaculately for the competition. Washing off and ensuring the horses are kept comfortable and is well checked over for injuries after the event to ensure maximum rate of recovery. Keeping track of the running order/start times to maintain a calm environment for horses & riders. Pricing is unique to each rider as everybody has different routines and needs. I'll have all my whole kit with me. Mane & tail tidies... Plaiting bands / thread and different styles Face trims Heel trims Feather clipping Competition clips Blending - mane line, legs, face & top of tail - perfect for show horses. (Please ask at point of booking as this takes extra time) I use different techniques for mane and tail tidies - I will always pick the best method for each individual horse - traditional pulling, trimming with scissors, and thinning rake. I use battery powered clippers, so I’m available on yards that don’t have a mains power supply. A selection of blades to suit each horse. More than happy to tie in with vet appointments for horses needing sedation.
