23.01.2022 Wow, what a weekend. We have redone our sums of online and gate sales and are please to announce an even bigger audience than reported of 447 people. Firstly we...'d like to thank all of our gorgeous visitors to our screening of The Merger. The atmosphere was buzzing and the the crowd loved the movie. It was great hearing the laughter of such a large crowd. It really is a great movie. We'd also like to thank the Gannawarra Shire Council and the Victorian Farmers Federation for there support in helping us get our first star, Damian Callinan Comedian, to come to a silo screening. He had a great night and apart from the Melbourne Film Festival, it is his biggest audience yet. We have asked him to spread the word as our ultimate goal is to one day have a "Red Dirt Premier". Lastly, the Quambatook Community Development Assoc would like to thank Quambatooks amazing volunteers, without you we couldn't do this. The Quambatook Silo Cinema is purely community run and all proceeds go back into our town. PS. If The Merger has inspired you to put on the footy boots or netball runners, the Quambatook Football and Netball Club is a great family club and would always welcome new players.
