24.01.2022 How to stick to your wedding budget Planning your wedding is a big task that can take a hit on your wallet. There's no denying it. BUT! We're here to tell you that your wedding doesn't need to break the bank. Whatever your budget, there are ways to be smart and ensure that those costs don't blow out. See our top tips in our latest blog.

24.01.2022 FINALLY watched all of Season 3 Selling Sunset and we were NOT disappointed by the wedding of Christine and Christian! In an earlier meeting with their wedding planner Lisa Lafferty, Christine promised snow falling as she entered the church and a cake that bleeds when you cut into it. We got all that and so much more! We were so excited to find some stunning photos online, that we quickly jumped to share them on our Instagram page and OMG Christine messaged us and reposted t...hem in her story!! Check out her EPIC and insanely beautiful wedding to Christian Richard below, and hop over to our IG to see their wedding videos (you wont be disappointed) Special mention to the talented photographers John & Joseph Photography Inc. who I know for a fact spent the day crouching and bending and squatting in full suit and tie (no easy feat!)

23.01.2022 Update on weddings in NSW: Wedding guest lists will again be restricted and all indoor hospitality venues limited to bookings of no more than 10 per group under tough new restrictions in New South Wales. Weddings will be able to have no more than 150 people, with everyone to remain seated at all times, while funerals will be limited to 100.

22.01.2022 Being able to see real-life examples of styling, search various dress styles, find wonderful inspiration and uncover a ton of hacks, has given wedding planning the booster seat it needed. In case you couldn't tell, we're B.I.G fans of Pinterest. Here's why.

22.01.2022 This warms our hearts.

22.01.2022 More of this at weddings please! (But also make sure theres someone there to ensure those empty seats have bottoms on them )

21.01.2022 UPDATE MISTAKE MISCOMMUNICATION "PRINTED IN ERROR": NSW GOV have updated their guidelines, saying that the previous announcement was "printed in error". "An earlier version of this guidance indicated that dancing for all guests was permitted at weddings. This was printed in error, and applies only to the bridal couple and bridal party." So, I'm sorry friends, but dancing for all is still a no-go at weddings. I'm disappointed for us all and I'm sorry if I got your hopes up. I ...got mine up too and now they're back comfortably waiting in 'optimism mode'. 21.01.2022 We meet with so many couples before and after their wedding day. The ones before say "we thought wedding planners were expensive", the ones we meet after their wedding say that they wish they'd hired a planner or at least an on-the-day coordinator.

21.01.2022 It's a great idea to choose a meaningful song for when you cut your wedding cake! Here are some of our fave choices, but really you can choose anything that suits the vibe of your reception or any song that speaks to you as a couple. Happy listening! https://www.hireabridesmaid.com.au//some-of-our-favourite-

21.01.2022 Wedding party favours, or bonbonniere are wedding traditions as old as time. Providing your guests (many of whom have travelled from afar) with a gift is a lovely gesture. These guests may have spent money on a new outfit, taken time out of their week or weekends, and bought you a wedding gift or donated to your wishing well. What better way to say 'thanks' than to give a keepsake of the special day?

20.01.2022 The funniest most truthful explanation of a garter at a wedding! We love the tradition and it can be a HEAP of fun, but its definitely not for everyone. Here are our tips if you wanna give it a go: Buy two: a nice one to keep, and a less-nice one to throw into the crowd!... Pick garters that are a size larger than what you think you need, you dont need that thigh pain! Dont feel like you have to wear it all day- feel free to pop it on just before the moment. You can wear it on whatever part of your leg you choose, it doesnt need to be mid-thigh if thats uncomfortable. Make it fun for everyone! Pop on a wild song, get your groomy to boogie and dance his little heart out- this will definitely relieve any awkwardness from the moment! Dont feel like you have to do it at all! If it doesnt sound like fun to you, leave it out. NB: During these covid times, and depending what state youre in, the married couple are the only ones allowed to dance. This garter toss would most likely be considered dancing and this should therefore be taken into consideration whilst planning your reception

16.01.2022 Nothing kills the planning-our-dream-wedding mood faster than the B word... Budget. Amiright? On average, a couple will enlist 14(1) vendors on their wedding day; including photographers, videographers, cake makers, florists, wedding planners, DJs, hair stylists, makeup artists, and event stylists. Thats a lot of vendors to manage! And that doesnt even include the venue or celebrant. ... But surprisingly its not the number of vendors that kills most couples budget. The biggest mistake couples make is setting a rough budget prior to researching their vendors properly and therefore underestimating the true cost of products and services. Want to stay in budget? This blog is for you.

This is the LAST thing we want for any bride or groom. Our entire business is stemmed around making sure you have a stress-free wedding (including the time before the big day). These are all common and normal feelings, however, there are ways to remain present on the big day so you can better soak up the love, electricity, and excitement that you should feel when marrying the love of your life.

07.01.2022 A successful wedding day comes down to preparation and communication. Being adequately prepared to manage suppliers, vendors, timelines, and budgets is key to a successful wedding day production. (Yes, we just referred to your wedding day as a production, because, well... it is!). Communicating with all parties involved from your partner, relatives, suppliers, and vendors is important from the first enquiry, first meeting, all the way through to the wedding day. So, what should you ask your prospective wedding vendors?

03.01.2022 We all have that mate or an uncle who loves the limelight and shines with a microphone in their hand. Often these loveable characters get preferential treatment when couples are deciding on who to appoint the VIP task of MC for their wedding day. But there are a couple of things to consider when choosing your Master of Ceremonies; after all, its a big day and being in charge of running your reception is actually a real responsibility. Here are a couple of points we like to discuss with clients when choosing between a friend or professional MC for their wedding day.

02.01.2022 Feeling a bit stuck on your wedding ceremony readings? We get it! It can be hard to put into words everything you want to capture on the day. And many of our couples are not bound to religion or specific beliefs, which can make it even trickier! Here is a list of unique and non-religious wedding ceremony readings that you might find useful.

01.01.2022 It's almost that time of the year again... ENGAGEMENT SEASON! But what happens next? Here's some helpful advice
