Since we get asked this question regularly we’ve put together some questions to ask yourself to assist in making this decision. Either way, you can’t go wrong and the local talent is worth researching. ... What type of event are you hosting? What is the theme for your event? What is the attire for your event? What is the genre of music that will mostly be played? If you are considering a band, what type of band would it be? Bands can vary so much in what they do so it’s important to consider what style of music you want. 12.01.2022 Happy Friday We had a big week here last week at HIS HQ and ticked off some big projects (Plus this shoot from a few weeks ago is rocking our world so we had to share a sneak peek) Our superstar Office & Operations Manager, Tarn finished overhauling our booking system and stock file to make it easier for us to manage our bookings... We had a Cabin Fever event that we were a part of @thetillerfarm plus we’ve put some more display furniture in there for the remainder of winter We had a half day of training learning all about how our new products will be implemented into the business Delivered for a 70th Birthday Party last weekend (Happy Birthday Dale ) Our installation team had training on our new products to ensure quality is achieved every single time AND A site visit for one of @hire_in_style_wa’s beautiful wedding couples We also had a bucket load of enquiries which was amazing to see and give our industry some what of a boost from the slow but productive winter we’ve had. 10.01.2022 Silly season is well and truly here and the regions get crazy busy, so here’s our top tips for surviving in this heat in the South West & Great Southern Outdoor lighting; If you’re planning on eating outside then make sure you’ve got some additional flood lighting to attract othe bugs Choosing the right venues; Select venues with air con to avoid those hot 40 degree days Marquee covers; A marquee can be anywhere from 5-10 degrees hotter than outside so it’s good... to invest in a marquee cover or ensure you are installing as close to the event time as possible. Refreshments; Ensure you’ve got plenty of water at the ready and consider drink options that are refreshing such as Aperol Bug repellent; Have this handy for your guests. 02.01.2022 How to style your bar and knowing how many bars you need We recommend ensuring your bars are large enough for your event. Our service bars are 1.8-2m long depending on which one you choose. This length of bar usually caters for up to 100 guests. When your guest numbers starting exceeding this we do recommend hiring two of our service bars to join them together. This gives your guests more room to order drinks and get served quicker with more staff being able to work behi...nd the bar for you #winning Bar styling is something that doesn’t need to be over thought but something that definitely needs consideration. A menu is a must to make it clear what can be ordered, we love a good floral arrangement to make the bar pop along with a champagne bowl to keep open bottles at the ready.
