06.01.2022 Attention Suppliers Changes to the Hire-X Platform Firstly, we would like to re-iterate that Hire-X is here to support you and your business. Therefore, we have a number of changes we wish to communicate in the hope that they will make your experience on Hire-X better during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are currently rolling out a number of features that were earmarked to be apart of a paid subscription in the future. Due to the environment in which we are currently in, the...se additional features will be brought forward and offered to all suppliers at no cost during this time. These features include: Tiered Pricing Up until recently, suppliers could only advertise a daily rate. Now, suppliers can add reduced / tiered pricing for a Week (7-13 days), a Fortnight (14-29 days), a Month (30-89 days) and a 3 Month (90 days or more) Rate. Tiered Pricing is a great way to encourage customers to hire your equipment out for longer periods of time. We also understand having only a daily rate was limiting what equipment you could list on Hire-X, for instance, items that had a minimum hire period. Early Payments We are pleased to announce that payments terms from Hire-X to suppliers will be reduced from 30 days to 7 days until further notice to assist our suppliers during these uncertain times. Maintenance Logs We understand that some existing hire companies are using Hire-X to advertise their products online, where previously they may have only offered a bricks and mortar option. We are expecting more existing Hire Businesses to utilise the services offered by Hire-X, while a decrease in foot traffic to their premises is being felt. Therefore, we now offer an advanced feature where suppliers can log and schedule maintenance on each of their products online.
