24.01.2022 The HMVC had its first post COVID event named "Winter Anniversary Run" last Thursday 23 rd July. The event was a celebration of 50 years since the Club started and an acknowledgement that Willunga was originally a joint site for our clubrooms. The weather was good and the run well attended. Many thanks to Graham Withers for arranging and organizing the run.
20.01.2022 HMVC visited the Birdwood Museum on August 20th 2020. Good turn up and everyone kept their distance and enjoyed the day. Bob Durant did a great deputy's job and is lining up another run "Old Car Day" on September 3rd.
09.01.2022 HMVC Victor Harbor Swap Meet held Sunday 2nd Feb 2020 was a great success. The weather was perfect and a good turn out of buyers and sellers. The Show N Shine was also well attended with over 80 vehicles on display. Also, a Mazda key was found near the SnS. Contact HMVC for key.
06.01.2022 ALL HMVC MEETINGS and Vehicle Inspections, CANCELLED TILL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO CORONA VIRUS OUTBREAK. Authorized - President HMVC on behalf of Committee. Also, on behalf of the Historic Motor Vehicles Club, Victor Harbor, it is with deep regret that I advise that the British Classics Tour has been postponed or may be cancelled until next year. We have considered the possibility of a new date later this year of Sunday, October 25th 2020, if restrictions have been lifted.... Should restrictions remain this year, then it will be cancelled and held next year on Sunday, May 2nd 2021. Early entrants have indicated holding their entry and fee in our trust for the event. Whatever happens, the next Tour will be another great event with true British fortitude. As Vera Linn sang those well-known words in similar times, until we meet again some sunny day Safe motoring ladies and gentlemen Graham Withers Chairman British Classics Tour See more
06.01.2022 Great day at the HMVC Anniversary Picnic at Ashbourne. Lots of vehicles, prizes given and good time had by all.
02.01.2022 The 2019 HMVC Strathalybn Swap Meet was another great success. Magnificent weather, good crowds and great vehicles on display. The HMVC team managed the event well and the new layout within the Dog Track was liked by both sellers and buyers.
