21.01.2022 Over the winter months whilst things were a little quieter, out lovely hall has been getting spruced up! We received a local Govt. grant to help fund the projects, so a new storage room has been built, and painting to the outside has been done and still in progress. Giving the hall a fresh new look ready for the season ahead.

07.01.2022 We write to pass on an OPPORTUNITY FOR BUSHFIRE AFFECTED YOUTH.. please see below for further details and expressions of interest. Feel free to share to relevant affected people :) I just wanted to spread the word about a grant opportunity with FRRR and the Sony Foundation. Please find below information about an exciting funding opportunity to support young people in bushfire affected communities.... FRRR and the Sony Foundation are seeking to identify projects in bushfire-affected areas in Victoria and New South Wales that benefit youth (ages 14-25), and provide community connectedness, health and wellbeing outcomes. FRRR and the Sony Foundation welcome an expression of interest from not-for-profit organisations in bushfire affected communities (including local councils) that seek either a grant for infrastructure or program / event needs (a total of $180,000 will be made available), Sony products, or Sony Foundation’s assistance in facilitating Sony Music artists visits, engagement or performances as part of the project. The project should occur after 15 May 2020. Expressions of interest are welcome between Monday 23 March 2020 and 5pm, Tuesday 7 April 2020. From this, a shortlist of applicants will be invited to submit a detailed project request. Given the evolving Covid-19 situation consideration will be made for extended timeframes to deliver your project ideas, particularly relating to events and gatherings. However, this might be an opportunity to think creatively about how to engage with your young people in other ways!
