The 1947 post office directory suggests Hay Street, Subiaco, but nothing in 1950/60s Landgate historical aerial images that looks like these buildings. 08.01.2022 Mystery Image of the Day "Carbon Brakes, Wanneroo, 1970" The other images in this series have been located but not this one... Do you recognise the location? SOLVED: The Carbon Brakes building was 249 Hay Street Subiaco (not Wanneroo) - but was demolished in ~1978. The Prosser Scott building next door still stands and is 343 Hay Street, Subiaco.

04.01.2022 Time for another Mystery Image of the Day! "Manufacturing bottle tops, Perth, 1929" I think it going to be hard, so here's four images from the same series. Do you know the location? Guesses OK, but also need some confirmation.... Images: State Library of Western Australia http://purl.slwa.wa.gov.au/slwa_b3473410_1 SOLVED: The factory was Australian Seal Co Pty. Ltd. which manufactured bottle tops at Marquis Street (now Market St) West Perth. It was demolished in ~1966 for the freeway. Thanks to Patrick Hughes.
