08.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) UP-DATE (Saturday 14 March): We are following developments closely and the safety of everyone in our scene and in the wider community is... of utmost concern. We can advise that: - we will be considering this coming week whether to proceed with our long-looked-forward-to '19th century dance and costume Weekend' (JAFA 2020) in its planned form on 18 & 19 April, and we will post a further update relevant to this on Saturday 21 March, and if at any stage plans look like changing will contact ticket holders. - we are holding off advertising all the wonderful events we have planned for May through to December this year. - we are continuing for the moment with our Saturday afternoon and our Wednesday evening dance classes, but are asking all in attendance to make frequent use of our hand-sanitisers, and asking anyone who has reason to suspect their own health to not attend that week's class. To dancers, dance leaders, musicians, hall-hirers, and all who make our scene possible, many thanks for your forbearance and our apologies for any inconvenience caused by the present uncertainty. Till this time next week, Your sincerely, John Gardiner-Garden
