23.01.2022 Well what a time it is in Victoria at the moment as we enter Stage 4 in metro areas /Stage 3 regionally. Please remember to breathe and stay calm even though faced with changing circumstances. There is much beauty abounding still to appreciate and find the joy within. This time will pass we will get through this. HIT is very proud to be a member of PAC Australia. This wonderful reminder was sent through last week on their e-news, so I wanted to share it with my fellow Vic...torians and all beyond our borders. Please stay well and remember to smile behind those masks. Best Wishes from Chrissy and the HIT Team WELLBEING CHECK Recognising that for many amongst us life may be starting to get a little brighter, and for many, the struggle may be increasing, here is a little reminder to take just two minutes for a self-check-in. You may remember this from earlier this year, less than a week into the COVID-closures. As we continue to work under the ongoing pressure to keep our organisations alive, to take care of staff, to take care of the most vulnerable in our lives, to contemplate the personal impact of the crisis, and to try to keep ourselves healthy, it feels timely to revisit this wellbeing measure. Please take a moment to use the below and measure where youre at. If you are surviving take some steps to take care of yourself. If you are at struggling or above please take action, let someone know and seek assistance to make sure you are ok.

06.01.2022 Congratulations to HIT Productions and founder, Christine Harris, on 21 YEARS OF TOURING AUSTRALIA! Our touring arm started 21 years ago today with the 1999 touring production of Hotel Sorrento by Hannie Rayson starring Managing Director herself, Christine as Pippa as part of a superlative cast directed by David Latham. Since then, the company has successfully completed 113 major theatre tours in metro, outer metro, regional and remote Australia across 1180+ weeks of tour...ing including some of the most extensive national tours ever staged here. A big shout out to all the amazing creatives, actors, crew and presenters we have worked with during this time. So very much looking forward to being back on the road when restrictions are lifted and in the meantime stay safe and well! "HIT Productions, under Christine Harris, has consistently produced high quality Australian drama for regional Australia, a part of Australia normally deprived of what Metropolitan Australia takes for granted." - David Williamson A.O, playwright They offer something that is unique and why venues turn to HIT again and again, to supply the sort of mainstage productions that many of the regional centres were specifically built for. Two plus decades of quality touring. This is an extraordinary record for a production company. - Ken Cameron, Manager of Riverlinks Venues, Shepparton VIC, 2020

03.01.2022 After 21 years touring Australia, we’re proud to introduce our new HIT logo. The contemporary typeface and the freedom and creativity expressed by the girl and bird motif, perfectly encapsulates our brand essence as we head into the next decade.
