20.01.2022 Today marks one year of trading full time for Hitchcock Plant Repairs. Been plenty of variety throughout the year. Ups and downs. Plenty of help along the way. James Edwards started on with us in October last year to help lighten the load and has been kicking goals ever since. Cheers James. Josh at JNS and Jack at Cactus Contracting always willing to lend a hand. Help Transport, Western filters as our main suppliers always go above and beyond to make sure we have what we need. Steve Wallace at wallace Concrete Pumping has been a massive customer for us aswell as many others. A lot of advice from wise customers that has helped massively. 19.01.2022 What a way to welcome our latest addition to the business. Harry started his apprenticeship with us at the start of the month and straight into one of the biggest jobs out. We assembled this 1977 D9H after disassembling back in February. We installed the transmission and made some adjustments after it was rebuilt then assembled the engine and torque converter from a short block to running. Complete install and machine back to operation. Roughly 140hrs between the two of us. Welcome to the team Harry and keep up the good work.

That Jaltest covers virtually all trucks and is very capable with fault finding, monitoring as well as calibrations and much more. 12.01.2022 Keep an eye out for the new truck on the road. Its finally here and done its first few days on the road. Sign writing to come soon. Busy times have been of of late. Decision was made to pull out of some work instead of putting a third mechanic on the road. We now have our little isuzu for sale shortly. Peta has kept us looking good on the road with very effective signs since the start. Also thanking David Tarrant at David Tarrants welding and fabrication for a great build on our body and ongoing support when we need it.

08.01.2022 HPR is expanding. If you are a Plant Mechanic with good experience or you know a good experience, get in touch with us. We offer a well set up and presented truck for you to take home and an attractive wage to go with it. Our work varies from Bobcats and small earthmoving equipment to 35t excavators and larger. 04.01.2022 The time is here again where HPR is looking for another Plant Mechanic. Through great teamwork and customer service we are up to requiring a third truck on the road. 02.01.2022 HPR has knocked up number 1000 job this week, with a rebuild of a PTO transfer case in a concrete pump onsite due to a selector failure whilst set up. We manually swung over the swing tube in order to clean the concrete from the cylinders to prevent concrete going off in pump and causing catastrophic damage. A new selector and some new bearings and the pump is all packed up and back to work.
