23.01.2022 LEAP YEAR // Secret elopement #1 and it was such a beautiful way to start my day. At 10 o’clock we gathered underneath the Time Thief Stature in Kendall Lane, New Acton Precinct. Canberra Celebrant friends - check out this hidden gem, it was the most perfect little venue for our elopement. I’m sure it was purpose built for celebrations of love. The stature even represents ‘seizing the moment’ which is apt for this gorgeous couple who have been together for a long time, engaged for 4 years but only decided to set the date 6 weeks ago! #hitchedbyhannah #seizethemoment #canberraweddings #canberraelopement @ NewActon Precinct

20.01.2022 10/10 AKA the MOST POPULAR WEDDING DATE IN HISTORY. I’ve never had so many enquiries for a wedding date and I’m so damn pleased that Nicolle and Andrew got in first! Borders opened and restrictions eased, the stars, moon and sun all aligned! It was the perfect way to spend the morning, evidenced by my ridiculously cheesy grin. 08.01.2022 Lyss + Cam // What a magical day and these two totally deserved it!! Their original plans were delayed from 28 March to last Friday. As the new date approached the forecast was torrential rain. These two handled every curveball with such grace and when their big day FINALLY arrived they were gifted the most gorgeous day by Mother Nature. Pure magic out at Ginninderry Homestead, where everywhere you look is a thing of beauty!! Everything that has happened this year has helped me to appreciate my job all the more. 03.01.2022 LEAP YEAR // Elopement # 2 - We gathered this afternoon at pre agreed coordinates in Commonwealth Park looking out to Parliament House. Just my couple and their parents. It was perfect. How amazing is the bride’s custom print on her wedding frock! Designed by her now-husband! What a perfect way to start and finish the 29th of Feb - such a busy day for all my wedding industry buds today. Don’t worry all, I’m having a G&T to finish things off. It’s been a while since I’ve hitched anyone (C-19) and admittedly I was worried I’d be a bit rusty.
