22.01.2022 The system of setting up effective digital infrastructure to engage with your market can be expensive, it can take time and it can be difficult to understand. Too often We see people trying to shortcut the system in the hopes of saving money, but all that usually ends up happening is it takes more work to achieve less. The Here's three shortcuts to avoid:... 1) copying content Plenty of other agents and agencies are doing amazing jobs of creating great content. A huge mistake we see is agents reposting other agencies content in the hope that it will have the same positive uplift for them. It won't. Craft your own voice. Uncover content your audience will engage with. 2) not paying to play We get it. Social can be expensive, especially if you're not experienced with how the paid implementation works. But if you want to broadcast, you have to pay to play. It's crazy that agents would leave it up to the algorithm to determine who makes up the 5% of your audience who will see your post. Control that by specifying who you want to talk to. 3) not retargeting This is something that is used less frequently so it's also less understood. But basically, if you're not retargeting the people who have already shown interest in you, your brand, or your listing, you're starting from scratch every time. Retargeting is a way to continue the conversation with your prospects, automatically, with no sweat from you. It builds familiarity and keeps you in top of mind.
