13.01.2022 This gentleman has always been a massive hero and inspiration to me. He has been there ever since I can remember. As a family, we used to sit and watch his documentaries and each and every time I was transfixed and transported, drawn into a world that mostly, I knew nothing of and had experienced very little. But i was there with him amongst the animals, in the wild. Sir David has a specifically unique way of introducing us to the natural world without being invasive or brash... like some commenters. Always with a massive respect for all of his surroundings and for us as viewers. He has been pioneering not only in what he brought us, but also how he did so - many of his filming techniques being world firsts. Then of course there's that voice! 12.01.2022 Hey folks, Fraser here, thought I'd say hi. Im not a photographer and am uncomfortable either side of the lens. I do however, really appreciate a brilliant photograph and think that often the best shots of people are when they are unaware or captured immersed in life. My business, Hive Society, was born of this idea of immersion in life. All day everyday earth, our environment, nature is all around us, enveloping us. We cannot survive without it. If we don't take care of it, ...it will move on without us. A circular economy is our only pathway and so in my own small way i participate offering ' Earth friendly products with a touch of style' We are by no means zero wasters in our household but we work hard toward regularly lessening our footprint. 07.01.2022 This image was taken about 5 years ago on an absolutely magical day as part of our Turkish holiday. I share for many reasons. Mostly, it simply reminds me of such a beautiful and wonderful experience floating over mysterious, fantastical landscapes super early in the morning after perhaps 2 1/2 hours sleep. Now 'surreal' is a term I think is thrown around a little lightly these days but given the activity, the topography and the mind state, Im comfortable using it in this ins...tance. At the time i was just over 10 years into my first business and i was stuck. My landlord had a control over my lease that meant i couldn't invest, grow or move forward in any meaningful way and almost everyday it felt harsher conditions were imposed. It was massively demoralizing and I felt myself slipping. What could i do? Not my building. It's all their fault! It's so unfair! Then it dawned on me, as it has with many great inspirational & successful folk - I needed to take responsibility. I was the one in charge of my emotions my feelings my future, how could anyone else be? The landlord certainly didn't give a flying, I needed to change the situation. 18 months later I had sold the unsellable. " If you think you can or you think you can't, you are right" With Hive Society, I'm in the drivers seat and fully focused on the road ahead.
