22.01.2022 Our very good friends at Fort Scratchley Historical Society. P.O 971 Newcastle NSW 2300 had to close the doors during the Covid-19 lock downs in NSW. The doors reopened to some brand new signage to help visitors navigate the site a little better with new directional full size cut outs and informational signs. Heres a little taster. 21.01.2022 Were officially Carbon Neutral!! Hi-Vis Group has been investing in solar power technology for many years with our LED signs. Last month, we had 302 solar panels of our own installed onto the rooftop with the aim of being carbon neutral by the end of 2020. However we have achieved this target ahead of schedule. This means Hi-Vis will now be saving over 145 tonnes of carbon emissions each year! The panels are now supplying 96kW of energy, which is currently 40% more than ou...r manufacturing facility uses on average. 18.01.2022 This recent project has plenty of heart A local nursing home was finding some of their patients were using the fire doors as a means of wandering outside to explore on their own! A solution was developed to give the patients a different perspective on the doors with graphics used as a distraction. After Hi-Vis wrapped each of the doors on the inside, from a distance the doors now look like a bookcase, a pantry, an old cupboard and the inside of a shed! 17.01.2022 Quick walk around 1 of 3 new Noble Engineering utes completed this week. Notice the tray back has been printed on metal with a clear protective overlaminate for added print protection. The metal sides and back are really useful promotional spaces however just using vinyl is not durable enough when utes like this are in action on work sites. The cog logo has also had some negative space added to simulate the cog being wrapped onto the doors and tray. Imagine the excitement when students and staff of Hunter Valley Grammar School Official return with this beautiful treatment of positive school messages. Queensland Spotted Gum timber panels were routed with positive words to inspire. Timber panels were then installed onto the blade structure of the building. 01.01.2022 As many of us are not travelling at the moment, we thought we would share a little project Hi-Vis has been working on. These images capture the installation of 6 large 6metre x 6metre digitally printed road signs along the new Scone Bypass. These signs were all mounted on a single mast weighing 2600kgs with a foundation of 1.2metres diameter and over 6metres deep, filled with 7.5cubic metres of concrete! Thats one whole concrete truck - in each hole!
