03.01.2022 On Wednesday the 1st of February at 2005 Hours, Carrum Downs and Patterson River Fire Brigades were alerted to a truck fire in Pascal road Seaford. On turnout i...t was obvious that there was a fire with a big black column of smoke evident. Once on scene crews quickly established that one crane truck was well alight. Crew members had to don BA and extinguish the fire. Unfortunately the cabin of the truck was completely destroyed. Incident controller Alex Smith said, if it wasnt for the quick actions by the locals who called 000 and the staff who relocated adjacent trucks parked next to it, it could have been a lot worse.
