13.01.2022 Healthy and Active On line (HALO) is a 10 week free program for independent older adults 60+ years, who currently do not participate in physical activity programs and would be considered a beginner. It covers exercise and healthy nutrition options. The program is delivered entirely as web-based learning modules that the registered participants complete on-line, via the NSW Active and Healthy website, and they have assigned phone-coaches to provide the individual weekly phone... coaching to each participant to follow up how they are going with the education and the exercises. Rollout of this HALO program will occur in Northern Sydney Local Health District next year for Term 1 2021, commencing across NSW in week beginning 25th Jan 2021. There is no variation in this timeline as the modules are released weekly to participants at a state level. Information and registration for this program is via: www.activeandhealthy.nsw.gov.au See more
