21.01.2022 Evening everyone! As you know, the Club has recently upgraded our Changerooms, and there are still a couple of other items to tick off the wishlist. We would love better lighting and an electronic scoreboard add to our facilities and have come up with the Cub Lotto idea! Attached is a flyer outlining how it works - jump on board if you can as it is helping ensure our Club will carry us well into the future for our kids!

18.01.2022 What a successful weekend it has been for our Senior Club - all four teams played in their Preliminary Finals yesterday, with the Women, Reserves and Senior sides making it through to the Grand Finals this weekend. The Womens team will play at North Hobart on Friday night with the Ressies and Seniors taking their turn on Saturday. Lets as many of us get around them and show the true Lions spirit by turning up to support them. As a result of the Womens team playing on Friday night, the U13 Boys and U15 Girls Presentation Evening has been postponed and will now be held on Wednesday the 21st starting at 5.30pm. #hearthecubsroar

15.01.2022 Good news week!!!! Huge congratulations to the U13 and U15 Boys teams who have successfully made it through to the 2020 Finals series. All their hard work and effort has paid off. Make sure that we al get around them and if possible get along to watch their upcoming matches. The U13s have a bye this round for the first week of finals, with the U15 Boys playing at 11.15am Sunday at Abbotsfield Park - get along and show people what the pride of the Huon is all about! Massive shout out to their coaches and team staff - your committment and loyalty to our teams is amazing! #hearthecubsroar

11.01.2022 Calling all girl's 13 to 17 year's old that want to play footy this year. Training starts Next Tuesday the 19th at the Huonville oval 4.30 till 6.00. New players are encouraged to come along and have a kick, will be great to see all the girls back from last season.... If you could all bring your runners as no footy boots are to be worn on the ground at the moment due to cricket.
