04.01.2022 On Friday 3July, Captain John Stavridis handed over command of HMAS Watson and Director Training Authority - Maritime Warfare to Captain Heath Robertson. At a clear lower deck held prior to the handover, Captain Stavridis presented several awards to members of the Ship’s Company, thanking them for their service and recognising their contribution to HMAS Watson and the Navy. Farewell Captain Stavridis, congratulations on your promotion to Commodore and we wish you fair winds and following seas.
