21.01.2022 I don't know about you, but today has been flat out! Although I guess that usually happens to most on a Monday. I guess it could be a Monday thing? I don't know. But anyhow... A little while ago I was approached and asked if I could help with a new logo and re-brand of a local dentistry in town. 18.01.2022 This year has by no means been easy... for anyone. With the effects of the ongoing pandemic, it has been a struggle to stay hopeful and positive, not just for myself personally, but for my partner, friends, friends who are business owners and so many more. It's not been easy career wise either. For many this year brought an end to their employment. For me it brought redundancy in my full-time roll, to gratefully pick-up a part-time roll the same day, to finally conquering my ...fears and self-doubt and going out on my own and starting my own business. I have really been pretty lucky and blessed. This year has also seen me battle some health issues with visits to specialists, hospital and numerous tests to try and stay on top of it all. I guess at the end of the day the point I am trying to make is that it is really important to listen to what your body is trying to tell you and take better self-care of yourself. Taking care of yourself is the most important part of managing your mental health and wellbeing. It’s so important to make sure you take good care of your body, mind, and soul every day, not just when you get sick. Learning how to eat right, reduce stress, exercise regularly, and take a time-out when you need it are touchstones of self-care and can help you stay healthy, happy, and resilient.

12.01.2022 #TBT Wether it's a commercial video, or an ad on radio, I believe the right voiceover and soundtrack is super important to give the right feel for the brand and business. Back in July 2018, I had the pleasure of working with Matty Morrissey from Day One Films in creating this little sizzle reel for CH Boutique Hotel.... From scripting, to choosing the voice over artist, picking the soundtrack, organising the talent and co-directing, this was a super fun project that I believe is still relevent today even having been shot a couple years ago. The sizzle reel has been amazing for so many different uses such as the CH Boutique Hotel's Facebook page header, to even being cut down to a 15 second ad to use to promote Deco Wine Bar and Restaurant on PRIME7 for an My Kitchen Rules campaign. 11.01.2022 So I had the pleasure of designing my own wedding invites I mean, why wouldn't I? I knew what I wanted, and I did it. And yes, for those of you wondering, Joel had input too! I went with a thick Buffalo Board stock which has the on-trend look of natural and raw with visible fibres one side and lusciously smooth the other which is perfect for letterpress. Used in packaging for some of the most exclusive brands in the world including Louis Vuitton, Mercedes-Benz and The Ritz-...Carlton Hotel Company, I chose Gmund’s black paper premium envelope known throughout the globe for their environmental credentials and unrivalled quality. For those that were given a role or to be included in some special way on the day, a handwritten handmade seeded paper with embedded forgett-me-not seeds was included, and all tied together with black paper twine. 10.01.2022 So a couple years ago, Mark & Linda came to me seeking a new logo for their business Volcania Art Glass. I was pretty much given full creative control with the only brief being that it must have the colour Imperial Purple used in it somewhere. This was the final result. What do y'all think?

09.01.2022 I had the pleasure of collaborating with my sister Christie Lee Sheehan last year to put together some artwork for her wedding invites, save the date cards, thank-you cards, welcome sign and seating chart. My sister being the artist that she is illustrated herself and husband Bryce standing under a significant tree on Bryce's parents property in Serpentine WA. A friend of my sister, Bridget coloured the illustration. And I put all the pieces together. Keep an eye out on my socials in the not too distant future to see how the rest of the collateral turned out

05.01.2022 Got to design new gift vouchers for Hopscotch Restaurant & Bar Can't wait for these babies to arrive. They are a simple DL fold style voucher, but the cover is 20mm shorter than the back, so that when it is folded, you see the black GIFT VOUCHER part. They'll look extra special in a mushroom coloured Zsa Zsa envelope sourced from Peterkin - Premium Paper & Printery which features a linen texture that runs all the way through (similar to raw silk). A premium paper smooth one side and a heavily distinctive texture on the other.

I was asked to create a custom Christmas card for Matt & Meissner Shez, owners of BLOW style & blow dry bar and SAM.C The Essential Bogans. It's a cute double sided A6 card on 100% recycled 300gsm stock and comes with its own envelope. How cute is it!
