16.01.2022 What a weekend in paradise. Our Broome team had a great day on Saturday competing in the Shinju Matsuri Dragon Boat Regatta at Town Beach. Big thanks to the Rotary Club of Broome & Broome Volunteer Sea Rescue and all of the other volunteers involved that helped in making a successful and fun day. How did we go you ask? Well...lets just say we love to standout from the rest, so, true to form...we capsized 3 out of 3 races and were the only team to do so ... Some photos shown are taken by Abby Murray Photography.

06.01.2022 We had a good meeting yesterday with Indent, NBY construction joint venture with H&M Tracey at the new Lions Eye Outback Vision Centre we are developing in Broo...me. This will be the Kimberley's first permanent resident eye clinic and we are pretty excited to be a part of this project for the benefit of the Yawuru and broader Kimberley community. We are at the 1st stage of development and it is tracking well. We have just received funding from the state government as part of their COVID relief to support this project. This isn't Indent's first project, having completed the build and design for our Mabu Mayi Cafe and Liyan-ngan Nyirrwa Centre - which have each won building and design awards, not to mention our most recent award for the cafe - taking the Indigenous Business award at Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. All our Yawuru members can find out more about projects we have going on at the AGM on Thursday 19th November.
