16.01.2022 We have just announced our dates for Term 3 School Holiday programs. At the moment we will look to run 4 classes during the 2 weeks, but if the demand is high, we may look to add another one or two. Everyone had such a great time last time, we cannot wait to do it again!!

13.01.2022 House Of Art Kids Workshop #2 - A full house for this mornings art workshop. With the kids given the task of creating a city-scape, each child in charge of des...igning and decorating their own building. Then as a group the kids decorated the background for the buildings. A break for morning tea and some slime-making. Overall a great day had by all. Thanks to everyone who came, wonderful to meet some new children, and I hope you had as much fun as I did!! And we cannot wait to do it all again soon.

08.01.2022 Thank you to my amazing artists yesterday! A Wayne Thiebaud inspired workshop. The children considered the formal elements to create a still life painting. They used line to create the shapes of the cakes, colour and oil pastel to create texture and tone. The children also learnt how to show depth with oil pastels by layering their different tones of colour.

05.01.2022 A wonderful morning with very creative kids for Workshop #1 of this school holiday program. The group jumped straight into their main task, which was to draw and paint their own Georgia O'Keefe style creation. They used acrylic paints and then learned how to add depth using oil pastels. As the group finished they moved on to making some fairy lights to finish off the morning. ... Feel free to tag and share!!
