25.01.2022 Hello Everyone, This week we celebrate week four of our return to studio yoga classes at the beautiful (and aptly named!) Hobart Breathing Space. How lovely and much anticipated that return has been! There is... something so very healing and inspiring about the collective energy we create and share in a studio yoga class a sense of community and belonging, of silent solidarity as we work together to raise our energy vibration, improve our immune systems, balance our endocrine systems, and foster greater physical, mental and emotional well being. If you haven’t yet made it back into the studio, or if you’re new to yoga and would like to give it a try, I urge you to get in touch. The Breathing Space is COVID prepared and COVID safe so give me a call or send a message to discuss joining a class (places available Tuesday 10.30 am and 6pm, and Thursdays at 9.15am). I also have a strong online yoga contingent in my Wednesday morning dedicated Zoom class at 9.30am. There is now the exciting option of zooming in remotely to selected studio classes. These are wonderful options if you have difficulty getting to the studio in person (health issues, work issues, caring for family members) or for those times when leaving the comfort of home isn’t possible. Our world is changing rapidly and we live in uncertain times. As committed yogis there is more than one way of being flexible. 24.01.2022 I am feeling very grateful to able to teach yoga and share what I learned through the amazing Bija Yoga/Sacred Seeds yoga training in 2019. Practicing yoga has had such a positive impact on my life for years now, I never take for granted the sacred window of me-time and stillness that comes when I step on my mat. 19.01.2022 This is what people have been noticing about coming to yoga classes in person as opposed to online classes: Committing to being in this class helps me create my weekly routines and helps my family respect my need for space, peace and balance Face to face is a discipline that keeps me more connected, on track and focused."... Being in a class reminds me that everyone has their own pace and their own limits and that it doesn't matter where you are at. This is sometimes lost or forgotten when listening to a recording or watching a video. 19.01.2022 Yoga for a Different Way of Being is back in it's swing! Julie is offering in person classes as before COVID, on Tuesday and Thursday. There's still time to join - new people are always welcome (we are about to begin week two of this 10 week term) RE: COVID restrictions... Hobart Breathing Space is COVID ready. We are compliant with all of the government requirements, including correct physical distancing, group density (minimum 2 square metres per person), cleaning and hygiene. 08.01.2022 Hello Dear Community, We are so happy to offer a space for the lovely Bija Yoga Tasmania and their Sacred Seeds Yoga Training Program. This Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training is for those that are seeking a deeper practice in yoga, wanting to enhance their professional skills and/or wanting to become a yoga teacher. The focus for Sacred Seeds are in the styles of Hatha, Restorative, Yin, Elemental Theory and they are adding Prenatal Theory. ... They start in November.
