We are a small team of independent practitioners providing in-home massage therapy services to the elderly in Hobart and surrounds. Our goal is to help our clients experience improved health so they can continue to live independently in their own homes. ... We are partnered with several non-profit organisations that deliver government funded Home Care Packages to older Tasmanians. We pride ourselves on providing quality therapy and continuity of care from a warm and compassionate team. POSITION DESCRIPTION As an independent contractor, you will provide in-home massage therapy services within your scope of practice to clients receiving services under their Home Care Package. Consultations will be initiated for you and you will have the autonomy and flexibility to arrange bookings between you and the client to suit your desired schedule. You will have access to our online diary and treatment notes platform. You will be paid a competitive rate per booking upon services delivered and tax invoice received. Travel over 20km from your home location will be paid at .95c per km. To be considered for this role: *You must have an understanding and ability to tailor your massage approach to the needs of the elderly. Experience with treating clients with chronic conditions is preferable, but not essential. *Have a minimum Cert IV or Diploma in Remedial Massage qualifications *Current Police Check and Working With Vulnerable People Card - or ability to obtain one. *Own a reliable, registered and insured vehicle. *Professional Indemnity Insurance *Current First Aid Certificate *Extra modalities is a bonus, we love to be able to offer our clients a range of different therapies to suit their needs. *Massage table a benefit but not essential. We are a fast-growing business with several clients awaiting their initial consultations. Our current therapists are booked out two weeks in advance, so immediate start for the right person is desired.
