22.01.2022 Congratulations to the combined Kingston High School and Hobart College Concert Band and the Hobart College House Band on their recent performances in the Victorian Schools Music Festival. The Hobart College House Band received the Gold award in the Senior Jazz ensemble section, an amazing achievement for a first time entry and the combined KHS and HC Concert band received the Silver Award in the intermediate band section. Congratulations to all involved!

14.01.2022 HoCo HOUSE BAND ROAD TRIP 2020 Christmas shoppers and passersby were entertained today by the Hobart College House Band whose week-long road trip culminated in ...a fabulous CBD Mall performance. They played classics like Toto’s ‘Africa’, ‘I want you Back’ by The Jackson Five, and Guns’N’Roses ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ was a real crowd pleaser. Well done to everyone who was involved! Thank you for the music! A reminder that they the HoCo House Band is also playing tonight at the Hobart Twilight Market, Brooke St Pier from 4:30pm.

You can catch the House Band tomorrow (Friday) for two public performances: Elizabeth St Mall 12pm... & Supporting Disciples of Soul at Rektango! 6pm-7:30pm (House Band performs in the set break of Disciples of Soul) Come along for a great show, and celebrate the last performances of the 2019 House Band!

08.01.2022 The House Band end of year tour has begun today as they performed at Kingston High! They will be off to 6 more schools as well as 2 public shows on Friday: 12pm-1pm in the Elizabeth st Mall... 4:30-6:30 at Hobart Twilight Market Brooke st Pier (extension band performs the first hour with House Band on approx. 5:30pm) Come join us as they celebrate their extraordinary achievements for 2020!

02.01.2022 A big day for Hobart College performing arts, as we launched our new refurbished theatre! The new upgrade has included new seating, foyer renovations and a whole lot of back stage tech! At the ceremony we also announced our musical for 2021: Roald Dahls Matilda the Musical! Thank you to all who were involved in the event. We are so excited to use this phenomomal venue for future performances!
