17.01.2022 Remember Legacy Badge Week 2020 is 31 August 5 September! Legacy is a uniquely Australian organisation founded in Hobart in 1923 by World War 1 veterans for t...he wellbeing and welfare of the widows and children of their comrades who were killed in war. I am a proud supporter of their work today as Hobart Legacy continues its vital community role caring for over 790 War widows and 20 children of deceased veterans. We thank all who serve our country. Lest we forget. See more

13.01.2022 This week is Legacy Week so please support Legacy Tasmania. Legacy Tasmania supports countless families by providing services to families in need after the inj...ury or death or a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service. So please give generously this week to help Legacy to care for the families of Veterans by buying one of Legacy’s iconic badges, pens or toy bears as a token of appreciation and support for our service men and women. It was great to meet Kevin who is at the IGA Xpress selling Legacy merchandise with Alderman Brendan Blomeley today.

13.01.2022 Legacy Australia is an iconic charity dedicated to supporting families suffering after the death of a spouse or parent during or after their defence force servi...ce. Legacy grew from the Remembrance Club, founded in Hobart in 1923, and now have over 40 branches across the country supporting 52 000 people, including almost 1700 Tasmanians. I was honoured to launch Legacy Week Tasmania, the charity's well-known fundraiser, at Hobart Legacy recently. Please give generously to support the work of both Hobart and Launceston Legacy Inc.
