24.01.2022 The Hobart Makers AGM will be on Saturday Feb 16th, 12:30pm. (details to come in another post). All committee positions are open for nominations. Contact an existing committee member or email [email protected] if you would like to nominate yourself for an executive or ordinary committee position. Nominations open until midnight 15 February. Some of the existing committee will be returning but we would really like a few new faces to come in as well to keep us motivate...d through 2019, which is why we are opening all positions for nominations! Positions available: president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and at least one ordinary committee member. You need to be a paid up financial member of Hobart Makers to be on the committee of at least $10/month.

22.01.2022 Great News! During Tuesday Night's Open Night we will be constructing the new bench for the Drill Press, Grinder and Jigsaw. For the Top and a bottom shelf we're looking for two pieces of 12mm, 16mm or 18mm MDF of the following sizes:... (Top) 1600mmx770mm (Bottom Shelf) 1460mmx770mm. Also looking for a pack of 8Gx50mm Timber Screws and about a dozen 10mm x approx 50mm Bolts (with nuts and washers) Please comment below if you can help.
