25.01.2022 We are all so busy in December with all that the silly season brings so we thought why not have our shindig in February! Join us at the Granada in Berridale on Sunday the 9th at 6pm (straight after the club paddle at 4pm) for good company, conversation and of course yummy food. Bring your partner and or kids and your BEST chrissy hat. RSVP by the Friday 7th so I can finalise a table.

12.01.2022 Woohoo we have cracked 200 likes! For all those who have liked our page or are following us with the thought or intention to give outrigging a go, why not make 2020 your year! We need you! We have plenty of canoes and would love to get more out on the water. Come on down, meet some friendly folk, learn a new skill, discover the joy of feeling the wind in your hair and the thrill of the "catch" when that blade hits the water. We love to share our knowledge and embrace newbies with open arms. Or for those who may have paddled in the past and are just itching to get back in your favourite seat, come on down, share your knowledge with us, there is a space in the va a just for you!

Likewise paddlers from other clubs are always welcome to join us on the river if you happen to find yourself in Hobart for a holiday, and let's face it, is a holiday really complete without a paddle?

08.01.2022 Hobart Outrigger Canoe Club are intending on creating an annual community outrigger day. The day will bring businesses together, large and small, to participate in a one day event to crown the fastest crew in Southern Tassie. The day will also provide the opportunity for partners and children, from age 8, to enjoy a paddle and race if that's their desire. In crews of 5, both male and female, of all ages and abilities will see racing over 250m. We provide all the equipment a...nd training for your crew. Late March/early Apr is the target date and conducted at Elwick Bay Montrose. So who - your business??? -local government, gyms, businesses, sporting clubs and many more. You will initially paddle against like businesses with the winning crew making their way to the ultimate final.
