24.01.2022 Our next Exhibition, Hobart Stamp Show 2020 has been approved by the APF. We'll be posting news here in coming months. Our dates are Friday 13 - Sunday 15th November 2020. We hope to see old and new friends in Hobart next year

14.01.2022 Sadly, we have to announce that the Hobart Stamp Show 2020 will not be going ahead as planned. We expect you will understand the reasons for this decision but with no certainty about the situation over coming months, we had no choice but to cancel the exhibition. On behalf of the committee I would like to thank you for your interest in our exhibition. We hope that events such as this that bring the philatelic community together will be able to commence again in the not too distant future. Peter Allan, Exhibition Secretary

08.01.2022 This year we are offering a "Topical Challenge" at the Hobart National One-frame exhibition. Topical is an experimental class that allows exhibitors to show material based on a Topic rather than a country. Its simple enough - choose a topic, show stamps, covers, postal stationery, postmarks - any philatelic material showing that topic and organise your display using some sort of classification system. The APF is conducting a seminar on Topical at the Canberra half-national 13-15 March. We are also running workshops including Topical in Launceston 15 Feb and Hobart 16 Feb. Rules available on the APF Website in the Classes tab.
