To comply with the Tasmanian Government framework for COVID safe activities and events, from December 2020 we require all market patrons to check-in on arrival. We have formed a partnership with the Rotary Club of Sandy Bay who will be assisting us with the check-in at both Long Beach Sandy Bay and Brooke Street Pier. Each market will have two defined entry and exit points.... The system that will be used for the check-in is called COVID Tracer, an app that is read by a QR reader which can be completed yourself on arrival or we can do it on your behalf. The information gathered will be first and last name, along with a phone number. This information is held with the COVID Tracer portal for 28 days, and will only be shared with Tasmanian Public Health upon request. We understand some of you may have concerns around privacy, however, we will NOT use the information collected for marketing purposes. Please do not let this process deter your attendance at markets as small businesses need your support! This is simply a measure to ensure should a case of coronavirus COVID-19 be identified, the relevant Government departments can access a list of people that may be at risk. Effective from December 1, 2020 a condition of entry to the Hobart Twilight Market will be for all market patrons to record their visit via the COVID Tracer QR application. Information that we are required to collect include, first and last name, plus a mobile number. These details... are required to be held for at least 28 days.
