25.01.2022 Hey all - In line with the brand new public health advice and restrictions, Hobby Bastion will be closing during the 5 day lockdown. This means we will not be open Saturday the 13th. And we will not be open Wednesday the 17th. Sorry for the inconvenience all, none of us want this! We are still open today and tonight for FNM so if you need any hobby gear for some unexpected days off work - Now is the time to grab it!

22.01.2022 The time has come for us to announce that we can officially re-open our gaming and painting space for those who wish to use it. However, in line with COVID regulations, face masks must be worn at all times and of course DO NOT attend if you have been experiencing any symptoms of cold or cough etc. To better support this, we will be extending our restricted opening hours. Wednesday to Friday we will now be opening from 1pm - 6pm instead of 3pm to 6pm. ... Further announcements will be made in the coming days in regards to the commencement of specific in store events. 10.01.2022 With clarity provided in todays COVID-19 briefing, it appears that regional areas such as ours will be in Stage 3 lockdown, with retail still able to trade in limited capacity. Unless things change or more information is available, HB will remain open with some additional restrictions in place. Maximum of 1 customer in the store at all times. ... Facemasks must be worn in store at all times. Customers must limit their time in store to the time required to make a purchase only. While I know everyone is on for a chat, in the interests of public safety please keep your time in store to a minimum. I will be making a post with some suggestions for at home activities to help keep you and the family sane during these trying times, such as fantastic board games or new hobby projects. Stay safe everyone, and thankyou for your continued support during these increasingly difficult times.
10.01.2022 David's been working hard building a new book shelf for the front of the shop - it's a tad empty now, but with so much room to expand expect a few more codexs on shelf more regularly. Also... A little suprise on the back side we will reveal later! Finally - the new 40k books out today are extra tournament and crusade packs. We are sad gaming has been so restricted, and will be selling these titles at a drastically reduced price for those rule hungry players ($50 down from $70) - we feel your pain! Games soon to come!
06.01.2022 We're trying to reclaim the Hobby in Hobby bastion - while games such as Warhammer 40k and MtG are our bread and butter, I'll always have a soft spot for the traditional, and have taken some steps to stock more tools and models. It's early days, but with a new supplier if it proves popular we will only expand the ranges further! (Will need some new shelves methinks!)
