08.01.2022 Mural on the van was a surprise for me done my coupla of volunteers whilst I was in hospital.thats our compost transporter.painted 2months ago.yesterday Jeffery my mate and freind of 60+ years was camped at Jeffery's bay South Africa(where Mick fanning was attacked by a shark)popped into this shop and saw this old boardie what do you reckon.
06.01.2022 Since my transplant op. I sadly am not allowed near the compost for at least 12 month.with very good mask I still visit infrequently.disappointing but I am doing lots of boring stuff in back room.we are now a "not for profit" and incorporated.our insurance cover has been updated to suit our additional needs and funding opportunities are opening up.the Royal botanic gardens have purchased our compost for their community gardens projects they want more. Hopefully 2019 will be our year for real development.as part of my new position is PR so today went to lunch with Costa G Kathlene (horticulturalist and beekeeper) Audrey (therapeutic horticulturalist with allround garden knowledge and Jeanette, journalist,helping with our media issues along with 150 others.great day only thing missing was a weed salad from James.

03.01.2022 well as you probably qll know by now I had a double lung transplant last year and has been going ok since.just recently I got the flue over that now but because my immune system is low I've contracted a super virus and this is a real battle I rattle weeze loud high blood pressure very high sugar all of which I've never had in my life b4 I'm in the right place St Vincent's hospital receiving the best care..But thanks to some really great Volunteeers Hobo Gro is still turning over AWARD winning compost they do need assistance MONDAYS 12 noon ~~2pm at compound Addi rd if you have a coupla spare hours please speak to Joe Scott or d'arcy.
